What is She's the First?
She's the First is a not-for profit organization that works to sponsor girls' education worldwide.
In many places, girls don't get the opportunity to go to secondary school; the reasons may differ depending on where they are in the world, and every girl's situation may be different. Many times, it may involve school fees, so as a campus chapter we can work to help offset those costs.
At She's the First, we help raise awareness to help the girls obtain a quality education, and fundraise to help them afford any school fees they may have. When fundraising, campus chapters are matched with scholars in the program, and can directly help that scholar through school through their fundraising efforts after that.
She's the First now sponsors over 500 scholars in over 10 countries, but remains focused on a quality education for each scholar, or that they can each finish school rather than simply finish another year. The organization finds and assists scholars worldwide by partnering with other organizations and schools working in the areas that the scholars live in. Recently, She's the First was adopted by Next Jump's Adopt a Nonprofit program, allowing them more resources to help the scholars.
